Pistons Stucked...

Please,I need help bad.Finally i bought a set of pistons.But,I can`t get those out from the block.Seems,like they being rusted to the cylinder wall.I don`t have the crankshaft,flywheel.Just the block with the pistons stucked.

Uhhh..... did you pass your english class?? try using a rubber mallet to tap them out.

Drop a bit of WD40 or other water dispersent/lubricant and spat it around the pistons. Let it soak in. Do the same again. Then gently do as Travis said - but don't use too much force unless you really want to damage the bores. Lots of lubricant is the way to go unless they have badly seized in there under load.

dude, immediately coat the piston tops and cylinder walls with oil. do it NOW. you should have done that when the head was taken off to combat the rust. ok, once the oil soaks in, you can lightly tap the pistons out w/ a rubber mallet. then be prepared to hone down and most likely bore out the cylinders and buy oversized pistons. good luck man
